In the wake of former President Donald Trump’s impromptu press conference at his 40 Wall Street property, President Joe Biden’s reelection team called the presumptive GOP presidential nominee “feeble, confused, and tired.”
Trump praised the decision of a New York appeals court on Monday to drop his bond from more than $454 million to $175 million, even as he lashed out at Judge Arthur Engoron and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
“It’s a sad day in our country in many respects, but the good day is that the appellate division was fair,” Trump told reporters during a 21-minute news conference. “It’s a lot of money still, but the judge is corrupt.”
