7/19 A landslide buried Highway 101 in North Bend Sunday
JULY 19, 2010 -- A huge landslide blocked Highway 101 in North Bend Sunday afternoon. Crews worked overnight to remove seventy dump truck-loads of debris. The road reopened to traffic at around 1 p.m. Monday.

Oregon Department of Transportation spokesman Gary Leaming says they don’t what caused the slide.

The slide occurred in North Bend near The Mill casino. A detour rerouted traffic around the affected area.
